The Scoot Boot Slim is excatly the same as the highly popular Scoot Boot, but the shape is designed to fit a narrower hoof, making it especially suitable for hind hooves.
The Scoot Boot is a very lightweight and simple hoof boot, that reresents the latest innovation in hoof boot technology. The Scoot boot unlike other hoof boots will not get soggy, heavy or wet when riding through wet terrain as there are no material parts to hold moisture. The Scoot Boot is constructed of very strong thermo-plastic urethane (TPU) as well as the securing straps, which gives the Scoot Boot superb strength to stand up to all types of terrain that you and your horse may ride over.
Scoot boots do not have Velcro straps that can get clogged with mud, hair and other debris; there will be no broken cables and there will be nothing that needs to be replaced. Scoot boots are so easy to fit that any person from the very young to the very old will be able to fit the Scoot Boot onto their horse’s hoof.
The Scoot Boot is advertised to fit more hoof shapes than any other boot on the market. Whether your horse’s hoof is longer than wider or wider than longer the Scoot Boot will give your horse a very secure fit (this model is for longer than wide hooves, for rounder hooves see the original Scoot Boot). Unlike other hoof boots, the securing is all about the upper part of the boot, and not the straps, to keep it safely secure which leasds to a more stable boot. The Scoot Boots do not move once they are on and no adjustment is required as the boot is secured by parts of the hoof that do not grow.
